@ BG #5
Yes!
As you state, AM in the three point contest and AR on the sophmore team.

Now add SC (on the rookie team) and ME (voted in).

Hey...it's the Fantastic Four!

Felty, good analysis of Randolph's game. Can you put something together to answer the question's that Monte seemed to have about playing alongside Curry?
I seem to remember that Monta said that there was no way it was going to work. Why has it worked in the past few games? (And why isn't Monta complaining about it?)

On point once again Felty. So nice to read a recap about a game that doesn't somehow com back to what a troll Nellie is. Especially considering he wasn't even there! Truth is, the kids came out and played the kind of game the Old Man has always wanted them to. They are starting to get it. They are also winning. I look forward to some fun games up ahead, and when we start getting some rotation players back, watch out!

@ CD "He also is quite comfortable in the leadership role, something that Dubs really haven’t had since Davis left."

Excellent point.

Thanks for the acknowledgment, feltbot, I am sure I will become a regular here since I enjoy your assessments and need to prove that I am not you...and you are not me! Look, I am not at all bashing Jennings, he is an incredible talent...but I think that players who make their teammates better are few and far between...and Curry is one of those rare players.

He also is quite comfortable in the leadership role, something that Dubs really haven't had since Davis left.

CD great to see you post here! I always enjoy reading you. I agree with you about Nick van Exel, although I think he was a very underrated passer and player, especially while playing for Nellie. I would compare Jennings to Iverson and Arenas. Which is not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination. But not a guy who can mind meld with his teammates, as it seems Curry can do. And so I'm not sure he can find a way to win when his own scoring is shut down. San Antonio shut down Jennings by using zone principles to "double team" him. I'm guessing the league will follow.

Great write up...as usual. That was a exciting game to watch. Monte proved he was back last year when he came back at the end of the season and dominated. Im not sure how long he can hold up doing all of that for 48 mins a game.

I heard rumors that Don Nelson wants to become the Godfather of the Warriors when he retires similar to his idol Red Aurbach of the Celtics . The Warriors couldnt be so lucky. The guy knows talent when he sees it.

Curry is solid, I thought he played average until the 4th qtr. IMHO, Tyreke Evans should be rookie of the year. The guy is a beast even though he doesnt get much pub playing for the lowly Queens.

UC Dubs fan...fair enough, then Tiny Archibald, who was brilliant individually but rarely made his teammates better. I understand why you would object to Van Exel, though he was a much better individual talent than you seem to be giving him credit for.
