The Bobcats blew out the Raptors 116-81 in their last game. A quick look at the boxscore shows us that Toronto’s wings (DeRozan, Belinelli, Turkoglu, Jack) were a combined 9-37 from the field, for a shooting percentage of less than .250. Do you think adding Stephen Jackson to Gerald Wallace on the wings has helped the Bobcats defense?
The Bobcats are now 4-1 ATS since the Jackson trade, 3-1 ATS since I began the Bobcats Bet. Tonight they get a real test, getting +5 at home against Lebron and the Cavs. The bookies have begun to make their adjustments. The last time these two teams met in Charlotte, the line was +8. The last two times they met in Cleveland the lines were +14 and +15. This is definitely something to keep an eye on. This bet will end the moment I feel the bookies are properly pricing the Jackson effect. I don’t think we’re there yet.
I’m still on the Bobtrain.
