The quality of your writing and analysis is impressive, Felty. My admiration for your posts is exceeded only by my disgust at the shallow dreck posted by most of the “professional” sportswriters around here. I’ve been a journalist for 40 years, and I can’t imagine any old-time editor letting most of their stuff see the light of day. Thanks for giving me something to read that brings a mature, adult perspective to this sad season.
